I Love St. Patrick's Day. You All Know What Happens When "Us" "Irish" People Start Celebrating Shit. Penn State Is Known As The Number 1 Party School In The Nation. Some Maniac There Decided That, Since St Patrick's Day Falls On A Day During Spring Break, They Should Do It The Week Before. I Totally Respect That. I'm Not Real Big Into Drinking. Only Because If You Drink The Right Way, You Should Be Drinking With The Knowledge That You're Probably Giving Up A Good Portion Of The Next Day. Day Drinking On The Other Hand Is Like Sport To Me. Though I Did Take It Kind Of Easy This Weekend, I See Where My Threshold Is And Will Attempt To Outdo Myself This Coming Weekend In Hoboken. Well, This Party Is A Shit Show. A Real Shit Show. Riding A Fixed Gear Gives You So Much Control You Don't Feel Like You're Riding At All... You're Just Moving, Gracefully, Quickly, And Beautifully. Flat Even Roads Where You Can Pedal As Fast As You Want With No Limit To The Speed You Can Get Are What I Look Forward To. Slowing Down Is Intuitive. You Feel A Connection With Your Momentum Like No Other.

You're Pumping Up A Hill. Legs Burning, Face Dripping With Sweat. You're Breathing Heavy. You Along With The Bike Tell Yourself, "You Know You Can't Coast And You Know It's Harder To Start Up Again, No Breaks! Keep GOING!" I Don't Give Myself Any Personal Time And When I Do People React Strangely Like I'm Supposed To Keep Doing For Them Without Compensation. Fuck That. I'm Done. Once Me Doing Something For You Starts Affecting Me Negatively What Am I Doing?

Some Days I'm Really Happy To Be Working With Some People Other Days It's Harder Then Any "Regular" Job Could Ever Be. I'm Going To Make A Conscious Effort To Vocalize When People Are Making It Hard For Me To Work. Please, Stop Being Directors. That Is One Of My Main Pet Peeves. If I Ask You For Input I Want It Otherwise I Know. I Wanted To Get Another Angle Before You Opened Your Fucking Mouth, Now, You're Pissing Me Off.

I Personally Feel That We Did More Work This Week Then The Normal Crew Of Creatives Could Do In A Month. 4 or 5 music videos were shot. Commerials Editorials Ads. It Got Crazy.

But Speaking About Jamaica, And How I've Seen It... I Can't Really Put Into Words, The Feeling It Gives You. It's More The A Warm Bubbly Feeling. Most People Go To Jamaica and Stay On A Resort And That's All They See. Airport, Hotel, Beach. I've Been To Places I Was Advised Not To Speak About On The Internet. We Went Through The Jungle 4 Hours By Car Twice In Two Days. Honestly So Much Happened That It's Pressuring Me. I Really Can't Type It Out... There's Not Words To Describe The Magical Feeling Of Jamaica. As For Pictures, I Have Some Of Them But Still The Mystical Nature Of Jamaica Doesn't Allow Anyone To Really Capture Jamaica. I would Shoot Some Frames Off At A Beautiful View And A Car Or Tree Or Tin Shack Would Hide It From The Camera. There's Something So Beautiful About Jamaica That You Can't Take With You. The Environment Is Aware Of Your Attempt To Capture It's Beauty And Take It Somewhere Else That, Something Tells You To Put Down Your Camera, Or look Away From The Most Majestic Views You Have Ever Seen Just For Long Enough Where You Can't Photograph It.

The Tallest Player Was Probably like 5'10" With No Jumping Ability At All, And Was WEAK. The Whole Team Was Made Up Of Other Short Pull Up Jumpers (Gunners). It Was Sad. I'm Not A Baller AT ALL And I Would've Dropped At Least 15 On That Team. It Was Something Like A 30 Point Blow Out But Whatever.

To Start I'm Sick As Hell RIght Now. So There Are Gonna Be Very Few Details In This Post.

I Really Needed To Get Away BAD! So This Past Weekend I Was In The Burbs! My Best Friend From 3rd Grade Till Now< Derrick, Moved From SI To The Burbs In 7th Grade And Luckily We've Still Kept In Touch And Plan To As Long As The Lord Blesses Us With Life. A Little Background On His Family. His Mom Is Like Superwoman All She Does Is Eat Sleep And Work. His Brother, Chris, Is Probably The Most Spontaneous Dude I Know And Spends Money Like Its A Joke. Carlos Their "Surrogate" Brother Is My Fuckin Dude Personality To Boot, More To Come About Him, Check Out His Youtube Channel. And They Have A Sister.

There's A Lot To Say About This Past Weekend. A Lot Happened I'll Give You A Rundown. Started Off In Jersey With Nothing To Do Derrick Calls Up One Of His Housemates In West Philly, Where He Goes To School. All I Can Say Is Shit Show. The Next Day Was Relaxed We Ate A Lot Sat Around And Watched Poker Then Went To Graduation At His University. It Made Me Jealous To See All These People Done With School, But I'm Really Not A School Person. Maybe I'll Graduate One Day. The Speaker Was Chris Matthews From MSNBC Show Hard Ball With Chris Matthews, And Wow What A Great Speech. He Mostly Spoke About Not Being Afraid To Take A Job You Think Is Beneath You In Order To Get You In The Place You Want To Be. One Of The Key Things He Said Was "It's Not Who You Know, It's Who You Get To Know." Looking At Life Until Now, That Is So True. The People You Know Are There For You To Do You A Favor, But It's The People You Will Meet On Your Path To Success That Really Have A Lot To Do With Your Final Place In Society.

The Next Day, We Went To The Gym, Then Had A Sick Impromptu BBQ And Drove My Car Back Up To NY And Went Back Down To Jersey. I'm Going To Take This Time Now To Say Fuck The NJ State Police Officer Who Pulled Me Over For Some Bulshit On 295. Racial Profiling Is Alive In South Jersey.

Day 4 Was Pretty Uneventful Too. I Really Can't Remember Much Except For The Night. We Went To Some Party At Temple In Philly. Got Sober. Got Lost. And Carlos Jumps Out Of The Car Right Near Pats Steaks (Which SUCK Geno's Over Pats Anytime.)

Day 5 The Last Day, Was Full Of Hangover. I Slept Most Of The Day. After I Finally Got Off My Ass, We Went To Webers And Drive Up Fast Food Place, After Making It To Sonic And Fucking Carlos Remembering He Had Work...

No, I Didn't Take Any Hallucinogen Last Night, This Is What I Dreamt. I Was Definitely Trippin' Balls But Please Bear With My I'm Not Crazy But This Was Entirely To Funny Not To Share.

Here Is How It Started. I Was In The Back Seat Of A Car Getting Ready To Go Out With My Friends, Kyronn And Chris. They Promote So That Wasn't Strange. But, Anyway. I Didn't See Who Was Driving At All And We Pulled Up In Front Of A Building That Wasn't Where We Would Usually Meet In Real Life, Even That Wasn't Strange. It Was The Fact That They Came Out Of The Building With People I Knew From High School And They Were Dressed Really Fuckin' Weird. But Yeah. Some How I Got The Duty Of Taking Care Of Some Drunk Ass Girl Who Started Puking And I Took Her Over To Another Stoop And Sat Her Down While She Was Puking And Got One Of Her Friends To Look After Her. Next Thing I Know, I Have Barbecue Sauce All Over Me I Could Even Smell That Shit. I Walk Over To This Area Of Grass To Try To Get It Off Of Me, And This Is Where The Weird Shit Starts.

Please Be Advised This Is A Dream. I Step Into The Grass And To Start It Wasn't Night Time Anymore And I Wasn't In Front Of That Building Anymore. I Was In This Like Trench Network. That Was Beautiful! There Was Sand, And Stones And Like The Wood Everywhere Was Really Well Maintained And It Was Warm And Gorgeous Out. There Were These Different Ponds All Over The Place. But The Really Strange Part Was The Weird Toys That Were All Over The Place. There Was A Gorilla Toy, And Lady In A White Dress, A Plane With Like Velcro Flames, Some Action Figure That Looked Just Like Sylvester Stalone With Red Pants On And No Shirt, And A Bunch Or Stuffed Brass Knuckles. As I Was Wading Through One Pond, I Had A Strange Sense That Someone Was Watching Me, And I Would Turn Around Just To Catch All The Toys Look Away. It Starts Getting Really Fucking Weird Right About Here.

Feeling Weird, I Turn Around To Like Get Outta This Place And Go Home And As I Do So, All The Toys Come To Life Like Not Talking To Me Or Anything Weird Like That... But They Were Moving And Shit And There Was LOUD Really Creepy Circus Music Playing And Everything Happening Even What I Was Doing Was Synced Up To The Music. For Instance, I Tripped And Knocked Something Over And A Really Loud Bass Played And One Of The Gorilla Toys Went Up A Mini Empire State Building, With A Pretty Lady In The White Dress Doll. My Tripping Sent One Of Those Planes With The Flames Down A String And Started It Circling The Building (King Kong Much?)

I Finally Get Out Of The Koi Pond Trench Thing And Started Walking Towards A Huge Wheat Field. The Wheat Was Progressively Getting Taller And Taller Until It Was Up To My Neck And The I Stopped And Looked Back And The Show Thing At That Koi Trench This Was Still Going On. Then I Turned And Noticed That As I Was Walking, There Were More Weird Toys Moving Into The Air In Rows From Left To Right In Front And Behind Me And The Pace At Which I Walked, Governed The Pace That The Toys Moved. The Toys Were Just As Weird As The There Ones They Were Like Plush Razor Blades, And Syringes. So I'm Walking Through This Wheat, And I Feel It Changing And Its Carrying Me Along. And I Look Around Its An Avalanche Then It Turns Into A River Right Away. I'm Swimming Through This River And It Just Stops And I'm Walking Again. So The Field Avalanche River Valley Thing Ended In A Chain-Link Fence And There Was A Beautiful Lake Across the Street. I Really Wanted To Take A Picture And I Reach For My Camera And It Wasn't There. So I Pull My Phone Out To Take A Pic, I Never Do That Which Is Probably The Weirdest Part Of The Whole Dream, But I Start Up The Shitty iPhone Camera And Before I Can Snap A Picture, A Fucking Gorilla Comes Out Of The Gate. So I Book It Out Of There! I'm Running Down The Block And Turn To See If I'm About To Get The Shit Beat Outta Me, And The Gorilla That Was There Is A Man On A Bike With A HUGE Helmet On Looking At Me Like I'm Crazy. And I Was Like Damn Your Helmet Is Huge!!!

The Last Part Of The Dream Was All Fucked Up Too. So Im Standing On The Side Of This Street And A Green Station Wagon Rolls Up. I Look Away And Look Back, The Station Had No Roof On It And All 10 People That Were Sitting In It Were Looking At Me. Then I Looked Away Again And Looked Back Again And Those 10 People Were Standing There Looking At Me And Again I Look Away And Look Back And There's 3 Guys Standing There Looking At Me They Pull Out Green Hula Hoops And Start Juggling Them! I'm Yelling At The Like What The Fuck Are You Doing!!! And They Get Closer And Closer And I Don't Know Why But I Started Dancing And Clapping And Counting The Hoops They're Throwin.

I Try My Hardest Not To Complain About My Problems Or Even Let Them Bother Me. But Being Home All The Time Is Driving Me Crazy... I Don't Know What Else To Do Right About Now. School Isn't Working Out, The Job Hunt Is At A Dead End. I'm Just Not Feeling Where I Am In The World Right About Now. I'm Very Rarely Happy Recently Not Much Of What People Say Or Do Seems To Help Me, So I Blog And Shoot. This Blog And My Photography Honestly, Are The Only Things Keeping Me Motivated, Thinking And Essentially Grounded.

Me And School Were Never A Good Combination. When People Ask Me Why Don't You Like School You're Smart And All That, It Bothers Me. Higher Education Is Not For Everyone. No Matter How Much I Feel I Am A Waste Of Intelligence Nothing Really Can Change My Problems In School. Maybe It's An Authority Problem. I Can Pick Up A Book And Start Reading It. Once I'm Mandated To Read The Same Book, I'm Turned Off. If I Put The Emotion And Thought I Put Into This Blog Into School, A 3.2+ GPA In A University Would Be Well Within Reach...

No More Complaining Though. I'm Gonna Speak To A Psychologist Sometime In The Next Month To Help Me Sort Out My Thoughts And To Help Me Self Motivate... Because In Retrospect, My Situation Isn't Nearly As Bad As It Could Be And I Don't Want My Self To Come Anywhere Near Rock Bottom.

Here's How It Went. Between 7-9 I Found Myself In Korea Town, With A Group Of My Friends From School At Karaoke... Yeah Karaoke! What A Clutch Amazing Idea. I Sang My Ass Off! This Is Where I Thought My Night Was Over. So I Got On The x10... And Fell Asleep. Now I Live In The Manor Heights Area Between Victory Blvd And Wagner High School, Somewhere Near Manor... I Ended Up In Mariners Harbor!! For All Those That Know, You Guys Know It's A Perfect Time For A Good, SMH FML And All Those Bad Acronyms. I Reluctantly Got In My Car And Drove Around To Try To Find Some Good Ass Food. I Only Ate Breakfas That Day So A Big Meal Was In Order... A Big Meal Was Completely Out Of Reach. I Forgot Staten Island Shuts Down After 11. I'm Sitting In My Car Thinking Of What I Can Eat At Home. I Was Drawing A Blank, A BIG ONE. So This Guy Lu Hefner Calls Me. Now, In My Head I'm Thinking Only Some Strange Shit Happens After Midnight On This Island. He Gives Me Word That Cam'ron, The CEO Of Diplomat Records, Was Coming To The Island. What The Hell!? Why Would ANYONE Come To Staten Island? But Anyway I Pick This Guy Up And Head Over To A Place On Bay Street, In The Cut. This Place Was OD Ghetto! I Don't Even Think It Had A Name. It Was A Big Open Room, The Bar Was 2 Tables, The DJ Booth Was A Moderately Smaller Table. Let Us Be Frank Here, You Can Probably Tell What Kind Of Black Guy I Am Through My Voice In My Writing, This Place And Hipster (Thanks Amina For Revealing That) Me, Really, Didn't Mix. But In True Evan Style, I Did What I Had To Do! I Shot A Few People That Were, There Mostly I Was Metering The 5D Cause I Never Used It With Flash. Blah Blah. Then We Walk To The "VIP"... WOW! It Was Like A Room From An Episode Of Scooby Doo. There, No Lie, There Was A Suit Of Armor, A Grand Father Clock, And The Most Random Collection Of Books In The FUCKING World! For Example. There Was An Idiots Guide To Tantric Sex Cover To Cover With An International Marketing Book. Ye,a It Was Like That.
